I'm Marina, an architect and jewelry maker in Valencia. Each shell is hand sculpted before casting, allowing natural irregularities to shape the final form: no two pieces are exactly the same. Inspired by the shells I find walking along the Mediterranean coast.

Each piece is first meticulously sculpted in wax. The design is then cast from recycled sterling silver using the traditional lost wax casting technique, in a casting workshop in Valencia, renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship.
This process ensures precision and uniqueness in every piece.After casting, the components are skillfully soldered together and meticulously finished by hand, reflecting commitment to high-quality craftsmanship and sustainable practices.

What materials are used in Naturalesa jewelry?
All our pieces are handcrafted from 925 sterling silver and gold-plated silver. The gold plating is a minimum of 3 microns of 24k gold, ensuring a durable and high-quality finish.
We focus on sustainability, using recycled metals whenever possible. Each piece is crafted using the lost wax casting technique, a method that allows us to create organic, nature-inspired designs while minimizing material waste.
Will silver tarnish over time? How can I prevent it?
Yes, sterling silver naturally oxidizes over time when exposed to air, moisture, and chemicals like perfumes or lotions. This oxidation can cause silver to darken, but it’s a natural process and does not affect the quality of the piece.
To slow down tarnishing and keep your jewelry looking beautiful:
- Store your silver jewelry in an airtight container or jewelry pouch when not in use.
- Keep it away from water, perfumes, lotions, and household chemicals.
- Wipe it gently with a soft polishing cloth after wearing to remove oils and residues.
- If tarnishing occurs, use a silver polishing cloth or a gentle silver cleaner to restore its shine.
For gold-plated jewelry, the same care applies. However, over time, the plating may wear off, and we recommend re-plating your piece when needed to maintain its color.
